Conveniently located two and half hours from Kansas City, Missouri, Morgan County encompasses the country living, Lake of the Ozarks, boating, kayaking, fishing, dining, wineries and with Lake of the Ozarks  boasting 54,000 acres of surface area, 1,150 miles of shoreline and stretching 92 miles from end to end, it's hard to believe the it is manmade and less than 100 years old. The shoreline of the sprawling Lake of the Ozarks is longer than the coast of California.

Dale Hollow Winery and Vineyard is a family-owned-and-operated winery located in Stover, Mo. Nearly 10 acres of vineyards are overlooked by the winery and tasting room including eight different varietals, both red and white. Our family (the Dale’s) believes good wine starts with quality grapes, and our mission is to achieve this through hard work in the vineyard to make great wines that are suitable to many individual preferences; as our motto suggests,  "Wine is Personal." We believe this is starting to show as we have received multiple awards in the Missouri Wine Competition, including a "Best in Class", and other medals in the national, invitation only competitions.

Dale Hollow Winery is open April - December and has ample outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and very easy access as it is less than a half mile from either Hwy 52 or Hwy 135 (just off First St). We host events throughout the open season featuring live music and food trucks (on occasion). Although a full restaurant is not available, we offer local meat, cheese, and crackers and encourage visitors to bring food to enjoy with their wine.  Visit Dale Hollow Winery and find more information here.

Located in the backwoods, Timber Ridge Winery offers a relaxing outdoor space where you will often see deer or turkey. With a wide range of wines, they have something for everyone. Inside the rustic barn, you will find plenty of space to enjoy a bottle of wine with your friends or head to the outside seating to enjoy the shaded yard and fire pit area.

 The Brewery is located on Missouri Goldfish Hatchery, outside of Stover, Missouri.  The property was originally acquired and developed to utilize the large spring located at the heart of the fish hatchery.   We use water, of the highest quality, from the spring only in its natural, unprocessed, unaltered state as the foundation for all our beers.  This spring water is not only the principle element of our beers, but also the reason for Missouri Goldfish Hatchery’s and the brewery’s existence. We hope each brew honors not only our own history but the tradition of brewing itself. 

Their taproom is open to the public Fridays and Saturdays 1-7pm, and can be reserved other days for special events. Contact us at 573-789-6212 to reserve your event, or come by the taproom to enjoy one of the 12 beers on tap, or local wine and craft distilled products.
